The AdelaideSBN is keen to build upon a solid 2011 and get back into the swing of things with the start of 2012.

We would like to take this opportunity to have a formal meeting specifically to discuss direction of the AdelaideSBN, what steps are needed in expanding networking possibilities, and ideas on what kind of events / talks are able to be launched later in the year. Of course we would also like to see who would be keen to impart some energy to help operate our group. The more the merrier, and we would appreciate any feed back and especially to see and hear from you in person!

Every week the Song-writers, Composers And Lyricists Association showcase the freshest musical talent in the city. SCALA has a history of supporting emerging artists and showcasing great live music stretching back well over a decade.

Character Jam

Character Jam presents Fringe preview snippets from the award winning Granny Flaps, the awesome sketch comedy of Golden Phung, Seb Carboncini's outrageous 'Wheel of Misfortune' and Wendy Torbet's 'Swami In Me'. The night will be held together by Adelaide's finest street-fighting cabaret artiste MC Maddog Malcolm Cummings. This is character comedy at it's finest and entry is a measly $10/8 with doors opening at 8pm in the Artbase.

A great night with 3 bands and 2 DJ's to rock your socks off. Put on your dancing shoes and have a ball with Adelaide's ultimate dance band Lucky Seven accompanying The Lincolns with our special guests from Victoria - Sonyta and the Incinerators. If you haven't heard these guys, get on it. A great rockin backbeat with unbelievable vocals.

The entertainment doesn't stop there either. Adelaide's two premier rock n roll DJ's - DJ Jess and DJ Midnight Rocker will be keeping you dancing all through the night.
