Higher Ground Inc is suitable for a variety of performances, concerts and shows. The building features three unique spaces, a basement bar called, Art Base, a high ceiling gallery space called, Art Café and a theatre/concert space, called the Higher Ground Theatre.

The location at Light Square, adjacent Hindley Street, is located moments from two leading arts tertiary institutions and is in the heart of the 'West End Arts Precinct'.

Higher Ground Inc can offer a range of flexible options for local and touring and artists. Featuring in-house production, front of house staff, a fully licensed bar and cafe, and marketing support through our 5000 run monthly program and on our website.

The clientele of Higher Ground Inc, is diverse, with a base of regulars and event specific patrons. Higher Ground Inc manages to create an environment which is creative and friendly to both young and old alike.

Spaces:
Art Cafe
The Art Cafe is a contemporary art space with fully licensed bar and cafe featuring indoor and outdoor seating and serving a glorious globetrotting menu of international breakfast all day and night.

Suitable for intimate performances and visual art exhibitions.

The Art Cafe can also host catered events, business breakfasts, lunches and dinners or afterwork drinks. Your wish is our desire so don't hesitate to ask.

Art Base

Art Base is the Basement Bar and Club space of Higher Ground Inc. Underground with super funky Instilation-art fit-out by Ben Resch and Tamara Molloy. Licensed till 3am.

Suitable for Installation and 2D Art, intimate Live Performances, Clubs, Events, Functions. Touring DJ's welcome.

Higher Ground Theatre
This incredibly versatile space can be adapted to various configurations, predominately a proscenium shape, the capacity is 200 seated or 360 standing.

Suitable for Theatre, Live Music, Clubs, Forums, Conference, Workshops and Events.
