The Ground Up Theatre Residency Program
The Ground Up Theatre Residency Program (formerly known as Hothouse) launched in 2007, is an initiative of Higher Ground Inc to foster the development of new theatre works by South Australian practitioners. The project provides emerging SA theatre companies or collectives with a four-week free rehearsal space followed by a short run season in the Higher Ground Theatre.

The 2007 participating companies in the program were:
Unreasonable Adults
Alirio Zavarce's One Act Theatre
Toni Main
The Rambutan Circus Collective
